Did a photoshoot with the Bleedin Bleedins yeterday which was a great laugh! Then it was off to the Village for the Imro best of showcase hosted by Dave Fanning. Some great bands. Really loved Ham Sandwich and Aleko. And ofcourse, The Bleedins kicked some serious ass. Photees to follow.

IMRO SHOWCASE, Crawdaddy
So, I missed all the music because of the ridiculous que of taxis in Dublin airport. grrr. I really did try to hurry. Caught the last few songs of Noise Control's set, which were AMAZING. Really looking forward to seeing them live again. myspace.com/noisecontrol4real.
Extremely annoyed I missed the Bleedin Bleedin's set- but it was great to see the lads anyway.

The whole of Germany has gone football crazy. This huge street was blocked with this massive football!
Regenzerstr. This is where my grandparents had a textiles factory back in the 50s.
First things first, sushi.

(got this from a myspace bulletin post)
Rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been accused of plagiarism by a radio station in the US.
The station WGMD, based in Delaware, has produced compelling evidence that the band's new single 'Dani California' is a rip-off of the Tom Petty track 'Mary Jane's Last Dance'.
The show's producer Jared Morris said "The chord progression, the melody, the tempo, the key, the lyrical theme...they're identical."
The presenter of The Morning Show has produced an MP3 example of the two tracks to help people make up their own minds.
listen to the debate here:

any opinions anyone?

They have been living here for between one and five years and are drawing attention to their failed asylum applications.
Quite ironic considering it was just the 25th anniversary of the Irish Hunger Strikers...

So yesterday, I shot ex MTV Presenter Emma Ledden, who's so so nice and gorgeous.
After work, headed to Budda Bag for the launch of Corina's short film which is part of the Red Campaign. It was awesome. YAY CORINA; From one launch to another, headed to Crawdaddy for Si Schroeder's launch. I wasn't really feeling the music or the atmosphere there, I think it's just because I was tired though. Plus, it wasn't really music you'd go see live. It was more chillin' music you'd listen to at home... I'm so jealous of Una who's gone to London to interview Big Brother. (starting on Thursday!! Yippy!!)
