ART DUBLIN

Check out my exhibition in BT2 on Grafton Street starting on Monday Aug 1st.

This autumn BT2 transforms into a cultural mecca, opening up its doors July 31st to launch Art Dublin; a stunning new concept from BT2 and Art to Order, paying homage to the best in contemporary fashion and award winning Irish art, to provide the ultimate shopping experience.

he collaboration involves thirteen of Ireland's most promising artists exhibiting their latest works in a state of the art setting in both BT2 Grafton Street and BT2 Dundrum Town Centre.

The work of these thirteen up and coming young artists will feature both in the windows and in-store, with influences ranging from urban and pop culture, landscape and digital journeys, to body, shape and form; resulting in an engaging eclectic narrative to our times. With photography, textile design and costume creation fundamental to the creative background of many of the artists, Dublin's fashion haven is an ideal one to showcase their latest work.

Artists include the hugely popular Vanessa Marsh, photographer, costume designer and artist Lucy McKenna, contemporary art photographer Graham Gosling, Sunday Independent's 'one to watch' Lili Forberg and many more. This unique display will run until late September, with information available in-store through the ArtDublin brochure

more Oxegen photees.

I'm not too happy with my shots this year.. the main stage seemed to be much higher for some reason and the mics were put so far back (esp for the Arctic Monkeys where yerman did not come forward even once) Also, the rain fogged up my lens and blurred up a lot of the shots.

Wolfmother - totally rockin'!

Franz Ferdinand - I enjoyed them much more than I thought I would

Arctic Monkeys - the most disapointing set in my opinion. I love love love their tunes but I just didn't feel the vibe. Maybe because I was so fucking cold. All us photographers were trying to escape from the wind by hiding behind the stage.. Didn't work really. I just remember shivering and my knees shaking

FLEA. I know this photee isn't too exciting but he's looking straight at me. rock!
