CAMERA GEEK POST ALERT

Went to the Photokina in Cologne which is the biggest expo for photography in the whole universe. Got 20% off some lighting bits which I needed (wireless adapter meaning I don't need cables to my lights any more. yippy) which was great plus checked out all the latest cameras and equipment on the market. So I'm all educated. And I want to buy a billion things.



Definite camera jealousy with this dude. I heart ring flash. buy me one please. anyone!!

went to the top of mount etna. it was horrible. but ian liked it.
iany keeps jumping into the pool or sea with his cigs and lighter in his pocket. dum dum.
but the lighter is still ok..

have had one of the busiest weeks ever! did a shoot with the fabolous Stella which was loads of fun especially because I styled it myself. Photees of that up shortly.

Shiseido held their press launch in Fallon & Byrne where they showcased their new products for Autumn Winter 2006.
(and where I received loads of Shiseido freebies. yippy)

Fun Times at the Electric Picnic. Post #1

had great fun at electric picnic this weekend. very chilled, such a great festival, and so well designed. those of us who were lucky enough to chill at the VIP area enjoyed the mini tipis with rugs, yummy brownies at the coffee stand, stairs going up to a little area where you could view the main stage, and best of all flushy toilets incl toilet paper and handwash and also mirros (amazing). It's the little things which matter at a festival: mushroom shaped wooden stools, huge butterflies and decorations in the trees, cushions and beanie bags to sit back on, pretty lights in the woods, hammocks, secret areas between the trees with tiny stages to chill at and listen to tunes, silent disco (very surreal. so much fun), friendly security and just general good vibes.

AAARGH! he stole our only toilet backstage while the proper flushy toilets were out of order. This dilemma lasted for about one hour, but then everything was fixed.
