Glittering Goddess
Here is a shoot I did a few weeks ago which I absolutely love. Everything just worked out right and model Rachel Montague is such a pleasure to work with. Pick up your copy of Galway Now, Cork Now and Limerick Now- also available in Easons I'm told.
Here are some more shots from the shoot.
and this one which is my absolute favourite but didn't make it into any of the mags for obvious reasons . Although I don't personally think anything of it- why is it so "oh my god" to show boobies in Irish magazines???? I'm all for showing more boobies!

3 gigs. 1 day. we did it!
Worked pretty late on Friday and was so wrecked and so ended up staying in instead of going to Gilly's birthday din dins and various other happenings around the town. Also, Kates was staying with us. Kate is my niece (well actually Ian's niece- same thing) she is 13 and she rocks. She also takes amazing photees.
On Saturday me and Una took her to see Delorentos play in Radio City which was so much fun, I got her a pink Delo T and Kieran signed it for her at the end which was cool. She said they are her favourite band now. yay. Can't wait to see her photees from the gig, they are definitely better than mine. Anyway, gig was great, those kids were going crazeeee and giving it loads. (it was an all age show)
Kate at Delorentos
Corina joined us as well for a bit before she headed to workies

Me and Una then headed to Malahide to check out PINK who was brilliant! Free drink at the bar meant we stoped caring that it was pissing on us (and that my nicely straightend fringe was all ruined) Pink looked amazing I must add and the atmosphere was really fun. We didn't stay for the whole set and hopped into a taxi to Whelans to check out the amazing Ham Sandwich. Definitely their best gig ever. ever. We stayed in Whelans for a good bit before heading to Dragon to meet up with the rest of the Pink crew. I then left as Dragon was so so so so (sosososos) packed. I had to walk home in the rainsies. Booooo. Today I am very very very tired.

Una should have more photees up on her place.

LEND ME YOUR FACE!
The Hard Working Class Heroes launch was on last night in the Palace on Camden Street.I can't believe it's almost a year since last years festival. This year the unsigned bands festival will take place in The Pod Complex which is exciting. Can't wait for it. As well as that, there will also be the music photo exhibition again, with some special guest exhibitors. The amazing Fight Like Apes, The Minutes and Angel Pier played last night at the launch. Fight Like Apes- Love that band. Saw them first in Tower Records a few weeks ago and their tunes have been stuck in my head since. Do check them out if you haven't yet, they are on tour now.

la weekend
was loads of fun. On Friday me and Una polished off a bottle of Prosecco before meeting up with Neil Tribuno in Toners. We then headed up to Super Extra Bonus Party in Kennedys which was so much funsies. What a great band, do check them out. so much energy on stage. We then picked up Corina at her gaff and headed to Rogue for one of Remedy's regular nights. Was a bit dopey the next morning but had to go to Taste of Dublin in Iveagh Gardens to shoot Rachel Allen for a magazine. Thankfully Una and YoCo came with me or the day would have been very painful. The place was such a rip off it was unbelievable. Other than paying 25 squids for a ticket, you also had to pay ten billion euros for tiny portions of food which wasn't even that great. I was quite disapointed with the whole thing. Plus, the weather was SHITE. Then went over to Una's and discovered Elaine's AMAZING hangover food - NOODLEBEAN. (Koka Noodles with baked beans) yumsies. Next day me and Una went to Malahide to check out Arctic Monkeeeees and the Delorentos boys and Supergrass which was so so so much fun. Free booze all day at the press area = danger bay.

my job is fun. this makes me happy.
Did an amazing shoot for GalwayNow, CorkNow and LimerickNow today which was actually very enjoyable. So pleased I got Rachel Montague for this as she is amazing. Well done to Corina Gaffeygaff also for the superduper styling (sorry I am writing like a spa- I am way too tired) .. it was a long day. If you are around those areas next month, don't forget to pick up your copy of the magazine with the shoot. Looking forward to the weekend now I must say! Heading to Taste of Dublin on Saturday to do a shoot with celebrity chef Rachel Allen (I shall of course be sampling some of the food. yumsies) and on Sunday I got me a blag for Arctic Monkeys with Delorentos and Supergrass (Supergrass!! remember them! I used to love them) so yay. Thanks Uners!
